Making Retirement Matters Clear and Manageable
We are an education and information resource based in Bangkok — here to help people find their footing before things get complicated.
Back to HomeHow Pensora Came to Be
Pensora started in early 2022 when a small group of Bangkok-based communicators and educators noticed the same pattern: people approaching retirement age were often unsure where to find reliable information about their workplace pension or the national Social Security Fund. Many had never sat through an explanation that made sense to them, and their paperwork was scattered across folders, email inboxes, and old filing cabinets.
The founders — all with backgrounds in corporate training, professional writing, or HR process design — decided the problem was not a lack of information. It was a lack of clear, calm, non-technical communication. So they built something simple: a place where people could attend a session, ask questions in plain language, and leave with something genuinely useful in their hands.
Pensora is not a financial advisory firm. We do not manage money, recommend products, or interpret individual circumstances. What we do is explain how the system works in general terms, help people gather and organise their documents, and help employers communicate with their teams more clearly. Everything else, we refer to qualified specialists.
Our Mission
To give everyone in Thailand — regardless of their financial background — a calm, orderly starting point when thinking about retirement.
-
Clarity
We explain things in language that does not require a finance degree to follow.
-
Honesty
We are transparent about what we do and what we do not do. No overstatements.
-
Respect
We meet people where they are — no assumption that everyone starts from the same place.

Our Standards & Approach
Factual, Referenced Content
All workshop materials are reviewed against current information published by the Thai Social Security Office and relevant official bodies. We update materials when the landscape changes.
Data Handling with Care
We collect only what is needed to manage bookings. Personal information from sessions and toolkit engagements is stored securely and is never shared for marketing purposes.
Scope Clarity at All Times
We are explicit in every session about what falls inside and outside our scope. When a question requires regulated advice, we say so and point to the right type of professional.
Plain-Language Commitment
Every document we produce — handouts, checklists, HR guides — is tested against a plain-language standard before being used with participants. Industry terms are always explained when used.
Post-Session Follow-Up
Participants in workshops receive a short follow-up summary within three working days. This covers the key points covered and notes any next steps they mentioned during the session.
No Affiliated Financial Products
Pensora has no arrangements with fund providers, banks, or insurance companies. We have nothing to sell beyond the session or toolkit itself, which keeps our guidance genuinely neutral.
Pension Education in Bangkok, Thailand
Pensora operates from Silom Road in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district, working with individuals and organisations across Thailand who want a clearer picture of how retirement schemes function. Our workshops cover the Social Security Fund, employee provident funds, and the kinds of workplace pension arrangements common to both Thai-owned and international companies operating here.
The Document Organiser Toolkit fills a gap that many people discover only when they need documents in a hurry — at the point of retirement, a job change, or a family discussion about the future. Having paperwork in order well beforehand makes those conversations calmer and more productive. Our kit is designed for anyone who has accumulated a few years of contributions and wants to know exactly what they have and where to find it.
The HR Communication Advisory serves a specific need in Thai workplaces: HR teams often understand the mechanics of a provident fund arrangement but struggle to explain it to staff who have never had any contact with that kind of scheme. Clear, kind communication at the point of onboarding or benefit review makes a measurable difference to how well employees engage with what is available to them. Pensora's guides and FAQ documents are written to be reusable, so investment in one engagement continues to pay off over time.
Pensora is not a licensed financial adviser, actuary, or law firm. The information we share is educational and general in scope. We encourage all participants to consult relevant specialists — including the Thai Social Security Office, licensed financial planners, and legal advisers — when making individual decisions. Our role is to help people arrive at those conversations better prepared and more confident in the questions they want to ask.
